Village Updates

  • VILLAGE OF AVON
    NOTICE

    Dear Residents:

As part of our ongoing effort to secure State and Federal funding for infrastructure improvements the Village of Avon has worked with G&G Municipal Consulting to gather important demographic information. Many funding agencies require this information to help them determine the level of eligibility for certain funding needs.

G&G recently sent out mailings that contained census related survey questions. I hope you’ve had achance to complete this survey and mail it in.

If not, over the next few weeks, G&G representatives will be conducting a door-to-door effort to gather this information.

The Village Board and I respectfully request that you provide this information, which will help us obtain grant assistance to improve municipal infrastructure in the Village.

Thank you in advance for your participation. If you should have any questions, or need additional copies of the survey, please contact Heather Randall, Village Clerk at (585) 226-8118 or GG Municipal Consulting at (585) 368-8866.

  • VILLAGE OF AVON RESIDENTS

The Village of Avon is considering applying for state and federal grant assistance that may provide funding to improve water and sewer infrastructure.

To show that the Village is eligible for state and federal grant assistance, we are required to give grant-providing agencies certain information regarding the household characteristics of the population that is intended to benefit from the improvements. It is important that both homeowners and renters respond to this voluntary survey.

You will be receiving a survey form in the mail. Please fill out and return the form in the stamped envelope provided. G&G Municipal Consulting will compile the results of the survey. Please be assured that the data collected in this survey will be held in strict confidence. (A copy of the letter and survey questions are available below.)

To protect your privacy, the survey DOES NOT include a space for your name or address. Instead, each survey has an individual code. This code allows G&G Municipal Consulting to identify and match your response to the master list of residents. G&G is not allowed to show individual data to the Village. Future grant applications will use summary data, not the actual survey forms.

The Village Board and I respectfully request that you provide this information without which we will not be able to obtain grant assistance to improve water and sewer infrastructure in the Village.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at 585-867-0106.Thank you!

    Robert C. Hayes
    Village of Avon Mayor
