The Town of Avon is updating their Comprehensive Plan!
The Plan will provide a vision and implementation framework for Town development. Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Avon, Livingston County, New York, pursuant to Avon Town Code §130-52 B .
Whereas, Brett & Kathleen Bennett, as applicant, the owner of real property located at2021 North Littleville Road, in the Town of Avon, New York, Tax Map #34.17-1-49, has filed an application for a variance front setback of 33 feet. The parcel is a corner lot which means it has two fronts’ setbacks of 60 feet required. The applicant is requesting a setback of 26.5 feet instead of the required 60 feet setback in the R-1 zoning district to build an addition to the primary dwelling.
Please take notice that the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold the Public Hearing on August 19, 2024 in the boardroom of the Avon Town Hall, 23 Genesee Street, Avon, New York at 6:05 P.M. All persons interested may attend in person or by agent to give testimony in favor of or in opposition to the granting of these variances.

Notice is hereby given by the Assessor for the Town of Avon that the assessment inventory and valuation data is available for examination and review. This data is the information, which will be used to establish the assessment of each parcel, which will appear on the Tentative Assessment Roll of 2024, which will be filed on or before May 1, 2024. The information may be reviewed, by appointment, in the Assessor’s office at Town Hall Assessor’s Office, 23 Genesee Street, Avon, NY on Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s between the hours of 9:30 and 1:00.
